Biosphere Corporation launches international export campaign “Support Ukrainians” in Croatia

Biosphere Corporation, with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Croatia, has launched an international export campaign “Support Ukrainians”. A press conference on the occasion of the launch of the initiative was held in Zagreb on May 10, 2022.

The “Support Ukrainians” campaign is an initiative of Biosphere Corporation, Ukraine’s largest manufacturer and distributor of household goods and hygiene products, with top European retailers. The goal of the project is to support Ukrainian producers, as well as the social and economic stability of Ukraine in these difficult times. The campaign aims to organize special branded shelves with Biosphere Corporation products in the stores of major European retailers to draw consumers’ attention to products made in Ukraine.

Charity is an important part of the campaign. Thus, in the framework of the initiative Biosphere Corporation plans to donate a certain amount of money made from each sold item to the international organization, which helps children and their families affected by the war in Ukraine.

Commenting on the launch of the campaign, the CEO of Biosphere Corporation said that the idea of such a project arose in the first days of the war in Ukraine. “For Biosphere Corporation, it is important not only to boost our export in order to support production in Ukraine, but also to lead a social mission with a meaningful impact. Therefore, we want to establish a cooperation with a preeminent international organization – UNICEF Ukraine, and donate part of our profits to help Ukrainian children. Today, the export of Ukrainian products is paramount to Ukrainian producers. Despite all the difficulties, we continue to work and manufacture our products. By purchasing goods made in Ukraine, European consumers receive not only high-quality products, but also help Ukrainian business maintain production in Ukraine, pay salaries, taxes, and save jobs. I am very grateful to the Republic of Croatia for its comprehensive support of Ukraine. We have plans to expand this cause to other European countries in the near future,” Andriy Zdesenko said.

“We are very pleased that retail chains in Croatia became the pioneers of such an important campaign in support for Ukrainian business and the Ukrainian people. This is one more Croatia’s stand of solidarity and friendly support for Ukraine in extremely difficult times for the Ukrainian people – the struggle against the russian aggressor, the struggle for freedom and independence of Ukraine, the struggle for freedom of Europe and the whole world”, – said the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Croatia Vasyl Kyrylych.
